We must never forget the power of inspired leadership, in private or public environments. Moses, one of the most admired leaders of biblical times, set the standards for those in both private and public affairs of the nation. However, Jethro saw that handling such vast amount of business was hard on him and killing him his health. Therefore, he advised that Moses share leadership responsibilities among the people spread it in such a way that the pressure would be eased on him. Jesus recognised that spiritual leadership needs enlightenment from above in order to full the task he set His church.

So the Holy Spirit distribute spiritual gifts among the members so we the church understand spirituality not as some kind of political dogma or ideology but as the domain of God. His church therefore needs that awareness that we cannot perform effectively in a role unless we got the gift. It is then not about where we want to serve, but about where God wants me! It then where we experience and establish values like truth, goodness, beauty, love and compassion, with those we serve. The gifted in the right roles in the church develops intuition, creativity, insight and focused attention on people rather than process. The church is not like the political arena, where they talk themselves into office. Neither is it about discussing people, putting down someone, so we may appear better than they are! Let us talk about the plans, the programs, the training ideas that will improve the church!

Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.”
